Math for Week of October 5-9, 2015

We had a successful week adding and subtracting positive and negative numbers.  This is an important skill the children will need in math courses from now on.

In Math we will

Monday- Section 3.1- Factors, Multiples, Prime and Composites- Examples 1-5 and Exercises 1-13

Tuesday- Section 3.1- Factors, Multiples, Prime and Composites- Examples 1-5 and Exercises 1-13

Wednesday- Section 3.1- Factors, Multiples, Prime and Composites- Examples 1-5 and Exercises 1-13

Thursday- Section 3.2 Exponents and Orders of Operations- Examples 1-4 and Exercises 1-10

Friday- Section 3.2 Exponents and Orders of Operations- Examples 1-4 and Exercises 1-10

A Prime Number is a whole number with only 2 factors (1 and itself)

Composite Number is a whole number with 3 or more factors
