ELA ~ Ms. Kirk ~ February 29 - March 4, 2016

Grammar   
This week we will continue to work with adverbs and adjectives becoming weak modifiers.  Each student will replace weak modifiers with strong and specific vocabulary words.  We will continue our group discussion about weak modifiers not providing useful information and becoming confusing and open to interpretation. 

Composition
Each student chose a type of essay (narrative, expository, persuasive, descriptive) and will be completing the essay this week.  Then they will be reading over what they wrote and editing it before submitting their final essay.
